About Megan Collins

Megan Collins

Megan Collins is an artist inspired by her lifelong, intimate contact with two oceans� the stormy Atlantic of her childhood, and the beautiful Pacific that surrounds her in Hawaii. Megan was born on a small island off the coast of Maine. Growing up, she was surrounded by artists, and by the inspirational scenery of jagged coastlines and gray, foggy mornings.�� A graduate of Dartmouth College, Megan moved from Maine to Hawaii in 2003. Although she has dabbled with a wide range of artistic endeavors throughout her life, including sketching and jewelry design, it was only in October of 2005 that she first picked up a paintbrush and set it to canvas. �Hawaii is a wondrous place where even the trees have flowers, and the spirit of...
